There are many
places in the country with Bigfoot sightings. For some reason
the Pacific Northwest seems to be a hotspot for activity. Our
own Olympic Peninsula in Western Washington is one hotspot.
There is a group just centered on researching Bigfoot in this area.
The Olympic Project.
Just north of
Spokane about 100 miles is another active area, we have no organized
group exploring this area. We do have a few individual
researchers that are very active. One is Wil Ulmer of Bigfoot
of Stevens County. He has several other guys that join him on
his expeditions. There investigations cover Pend Oreille, Stevens
and Ferry Counties of NE Washington. Some of their
investigations have centered along Sullivan Creek. East of
Metaline Falls and Sullivan Lake as well as along highway 20 between
Tiger and Colville. Mr. Ulmer calls this the Sasquatch
Highway. He also has an area running from just north of
Spokane between Highway 395 on the west side, that goes to Colville,
and Highway 2, 211 and 20 that goes to Metaline Falls and goes to
the Canadian Border. Watch some of the Bigfoot of Stevens County
YouTube videos and you will get a lay of the land that he explores.
One well known sighting was in
Bossburg, WA in northern Stevens County on November 24, 1969.
My plan is doing
some research of my own. Want to boondock in the areas along
Highway 20, "The Sasquatch Highway" Also if you liston to the
Bigfoot Crosssroads Podcast noted below for NE Washignton this is an
area called Gypsy Meadows that is 20 miles from Sullivan Lake along
Sullivan Creek where these encouters were experienced.
Sasquatch Triangle is from
Chewelah Bigfoot Research Team. This was a new organization I
had never heard of. Per the video link posted below looks like
a small team of about 3 guys. They do work in conjunction with
Bigfoot of Stevens County since they mention Will Ulmer frequently
in the video. |
